Sold all of my properties and took my boat out of their waters. The Caribbean in not a safe place. Even if you are careful, just being in the street is dangerous. Many people die due to the high negligence of others.

But she is the one who walked into the busy street not paying attention, knowing that there were multiple vehicles coming!!! I don’t know what she was thinking.
That is in NO way the truck driver’s fault, his view was clearly blocked. No way.

It looks as if she didn’t even notice the truck until just before she’s hit, she’s startled and throws her hands up in surprise… like she never really saw it, as if she never really looked at oncoming traffic. Just my opinion…

Ok I don’t know if I’m watching the same video as everyone else.

They’re ALL animals. The truck driving into the main road seems to not have even stopped before turning. The incoming truck just barely missed hitting that truck, and the girl crossed the street as so many people in the US do because they think they have “right of way” and cars will just stop for them. You get to be wrong about that only once. Sadly, in these places cars won’t stop, as they often do here.

They’re all idiots. I’m originally from the Caribbean and yes, people drive like fucking animals. It’s funny to me living in the pacific NW how people complain about the polite slow drivers. I’ll take that any day. Feel so safe driving here.

But if the Caribbean has bad driving, South America is a whole other ball game. Colombia, Brazil… the stuff of nightmares. I’ve never been to India (and I will never go) but from what I’ve seen here, it seems like they take the grand prize.

I’m sure my own idiocy has put me in danger’s path in other ways, but getting run over because I was not paying attention is not a way I’ll (most likely) die.
