Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

I lived in Huntinton Beach a few years back and with the heavy "Surf-Culture" there, I found most of the cops to be rather laid-back and friendly. You don't really see a lot of police violence or shootings there. This does look like a justified shooting though. Sad for both sides

Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

The cop could have tazed this guy. If the tazer fails then Quick Draw Mcgraw that bastard and shoot him (not fatally.)
Whether the victim grabbed his mace(still would need to be engaged/turned in hand correctly ect which would be hard to do with one hand right after getting out of a tussel) OR
An ammo clip (useless without a gun)...

No need to fire that many shots.
The cop was spot on and could have stopped after the first shot at that close of range.
1 or 2 shots to the legs after backing up quickly would have sufficed.
The victim was a trooper though and took all them bullets like a man before he slumped over.

The cops need to ask themselves
"If my child was the victim would i as the parent be happy with the way the officer handled it or do i think alternative methods other than firing 6-7 shots would have worked better and theyd still be alive?"

Disappointing. More Training needed.
Saying the cop should have shot him to wound him is the dumbest fucking statement ever made. Seriously. Cops don't shoot to wound. A gun is not less than lethal. A gun is not used to gain compliance.

No, the cop wasn't safe standing a whopping five feet from the guy and the cop already tried to back up and the shitbag pursued him. Great fucking shooting. Pro tip, if you don't want to get shot by the cops don't try and fight them and do what they say.

Cop isn't going to magically change his mind "oh Derp, this guy doesn't want to comply, I better leave him alone, derp"

When you shoot, you shoot to stop the threat. He shot six times and the guy didn't stop so he shot again. Guy would have lived if he complied.

Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

Watch Vid #1 only: "Outrage! Straight up murder!"
Watch Video #2: "Ohhh, context...I see now. Justified."

This is the importance of context in today's society. When you watch the news or clips people post online and get no other actual truth to context, it's easy to start unjustified witch hunts and stock up on torches. Get a little more context and more video proof in most situations and suddenly you realize that in the vast majority of cases, cops aren't out to just murder everyone.

Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

Just like i other videos, people say "they should've tased him". Well, this is exactly why some cops don't. When cops arrive to a situation, they have little information and shit escalates quickly. This cop is probably thinking he should've pulled gun out first. "Shot him in the leg"

You guys are fucking retarded. Get your dumb cunts out there and be a cop or STFU.

Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

Cop should have shot the mofo when he was first charging toward him instead of using a taser. Fuck that shit. Any mofo stupid enough to fuck with a cop should be used as target practice.

Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

Cop had every right to unload a mag into that emo punk twat. From the look of his reaction, it seems to me, that he got nailed in the pelvis hence his inability to move while getting more rounds put into him. Love his pitiful fall and muscle reflex kick while laying on the floor like a useless doormat.
Don't you EVER assault a cop! You're gonna get what you deserve.
Give that cop a promotion!

Re: Huntington Beach Police Shooting 9/22/2017

Watching video one I thought the cop used excessive force and went wild on, what appeared to be, and unarmed the guy for no reason. Sure he went for the cops gun, but clearly when the cop got up and made distance the cop was in control. BUT, from video two, when you're fucking offensively going after a cop, your going to get your ticket punched. After a LENGTHY ground battle where the cop couldn't subdue the guy, likely hyped up on drugs. I believe the shooting was justified. Six rounds and the guy is like a bull - (stomping his foot as if he's still going to fight) still aggressive. Ok then, have a seventh.
Only thing I'd say is, homie wasn't aggressive after those shots. Maybe just trying to keep balance. But I mean...might as well send another for good measure, eh? Doubt he would have survived anyway.
