Re: Historical: The Death of Tommy Cooper
Damn that's actually more disturbing than gore especially the laughing audience. I can imagine his loved ones would say thats how he wouldve wanted to die but no way...fuck that

Re: Historical: The Death of Tommy Cooper
That's surely part of it I think it bothered me so much because the audience laughed him to death. It's not their fault but it still probably ruined their evening

Re: Historical: The Death of Tommy Cooper
There's a video out there somewhere, maybe YouTube, which shows the moment Carmen Miranda had symptoms of the heart attacked while dancing. She kinda very slightly does a drop but catches herself. It's not really graphic but interesting because you can see the beginning of her exhibiting symptoms. She died of a heart attack, I think, it was the next day. |

Re: Historical: The Death of Tommy Cooper
Les Dawson actually died at the doctor's place of a heart attack, while awaiting the results of his check-up. It must have been a bad one if he was already in the hospital and still was a goner. Cooper actually took a long while to finally expire. Like Princess Diana, ambulancemen took a painfully long time to arrive. |

Re: Historical: The Death of Tommy Cooper
That's an unrealistic appraisal of the audience. The show was winding down anyway and the audience would just assumed that was the final part of the act,no reason to think a real emergency has occurred based on Tommy Coopers slapstick routine. I don't know what people are sad about,he had a long illustrious and certainly great career and was a British TV legend,if he could chose his death he would chose that and used it as his 'final act'.... |
