The footage was released AFTER the officer was cleared. I don't know if he can now be convicted after the release as I'm no law expert, but I hope he can.

absolutely, 100 percent justified. he didn't follow one verbal command, and he hastily tried to reach for something. i would have done the same. my only possible criticism is the amount of shots fired, after he appeared to be neutralized. |

Justified If a cop doesn't shoot and gets killed... people say "oh he should have shot him" but when the cop shoots (regardless of how many times) he's wrong? I would have kept shooting, too. He kept coming towards him even after many shots. But hey! That's just me.... |
