Whoa! Slow down. Who you calling a yank? By the way it is 'used.' There should also be a period after "anymore" as the way you say it makes it sound like a run on sentence.

This kid was trying to be a hard ass. Sounds like you can hear him say "what fool?" or something to the cop. And the way he pulled his hands out with a sliding motion lifting up his shirt. He was trying to show off to his friends confrontationally and got screwed for it.

I won't rationalize it. The cop jumped the gun. No pun intended. Shot too soon.
It's murder. At the very least manslaughter.
Period. Quit bantering. Give the cop 30 years and let's move on.

I think the cop was right to shoot him. They were responding to a call where someone was reportedly waving a gun around. Tasers go out the window, the room for waiting to see a threat becomes much smaller. When the guy doesn't stop backing up and slides his shirt up and hands out of his pants confrontationally, you assume the worst.

Do you think, you would keep a cool head after being screamed at and having a gun pointed at you? HE DID what the cop asked and still got shot.

It was safer for him to not put his hands up in this case actually.
