"A boy (C.) and his girlfriend (O.) has died in a fatal accident that occurred on 1st of December 2021 at Okigwe, Imo State along – Owerri express road, [a news source] reports.

The victim that survived said they are from Umuahia, Abia State heading to Owerri in Imo State before the crash occurred.

The victim who is also the driver of the red Lexus told [a news source] that, his friend identified as C. and his girlfriend O. died after a big truck lost control and hit their vehicle.

According to the victim identified as K., his friend C. just recently acquired the Lexus vehicle.

K. told [a news source] over the phone that he offered to drive his bossom friend down to owerri because he is still not good at driving.

So before the unfortunate incident, they had stopped by at umuahia to pick up O. his girlfriend.

The two lovebirds were later rushed to a nearby hospital in Okigwe where they were both confirmed dead.

In a whatsapp chat with [a news source], K. who is devastated over the loss of his friend and his girlfriend expressed worry over what people would say.

According to him, for coming out of the accident unhurt, people will probably think he has used his friend for rituals."

Based on this report, it appears she died, since this person posting the update was driving the vehicle with the unfortunate lady and her boyfriend. If that happened to me I would choose death as well.
