Islam is neither race nor ethnicity, its simply a horrible idea that many different groups and people can hold. Its an idea, independent of the people holding it. Islam would exist even if there were no one who would believe in it, as long as there was a quran somewhere in the library. And yes, he is right. Islam is fundamentally incompatible with the free western world. It does not allow free thought and it does not accept other people the way others are expected to accept them. There is a reason why there are no thriving minority groups in majority/sharia muslim countries. If a muslim comes to a western country, they are allowed to keep practicing their religion and customs however they like. If a westerner goes to a muslim country, they are not allowed to keep behaving according to their customs. Its a one way street. The west is can handle multiple ideas in their cultural space, even if they are horrible ideas, where as muslims can not. Go try eating or ordering pork in sharia countries. Go try to have a walk at the beach with your girlfriend wearing bikinis. Go write a comedy sketch or a cartoon about mohammad doing some crazy shit. Go drink beer in public or in private. Go send your daughter or wife out alone, wearing whatever she wants, driving a motorcycle or a car for example. |
