5 Killed when a Dump Truck Drives into a Bunch of People
A dump truck loaded with sand crashed into a crowd along the busy Nnewi-Ideato express road by Chisco Park Junction in Amichi in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria following loss of control. The accident which occured around 7:30 pm claimed the life of a middle-aged man who just buried his late father preparing for Thanksgiving service on Sunday. The footage showed several of the victims lying on the floor, including motorcyclists, bystanders and petty traders. Ms Onabe, a route commander, said a total of five people were killed while five others were injured in the accident. |
