Re: First Person View Of A Motorcyclists Death
Even if the car driver did see the motorbike, the driver probably thought he had time to turn but at 100mph the bikes gonna get close real fast..I have no sympathy for idiotic bike drivers tear arsing down a road.. It's the poor car driver I feel for... Unfortunately most bike drivers speed.. And have the cheek to ask car drivers to watch out for them.. Cheeky mofo's.

Re: First Person View Of A Motorcyclists Death
A lot of vehicles speed so it's good practice to not assume any oncoming vehicle is doing the speed limit it, but to take a little bit of time to judge how fast that vehicle is going. In this case it was a motorcycle that was speeding, but had it been a truck the car driver would've been smashed. People die in accidents like that everyday, it's not just a car vs motorcycle thing.

Think Once, Think Twice, Think Bike. But honestly, it does help everyone to not ride like it's a damn speedway. Even extremely diligent drivers on a good day have come unstuck. |

Re: First Person View Of A Motorcyclists Death
It's so bleedin' fast I had to use VLC Media Player to actually catch it slowed down. Must have been how he saw it too, the way they say time slows down for you in an accident as your brain's 'clock speed' panics. |
