Was HER OWN fault. Left turn YIELDS to traffic. You might want to take drivers education again if you dont know basic driving laws.

Re: Fiery Crash Between Motorcycle and Honda in Louisiana - Two Dead
I was going to say that I'd need some confirmation that he was speeding before rendering judgement, but someone posted that it was a 25mph zone which if accurate makes this a no brainer. Yes, left-turning yield car has responsibility but much of the point of speed limits is so that someone can see someone coming safely. RIP |

The most basic of driving laws is the speed limit, genius. If he wasn’t speeding, it could have been a very different outcome. Like.. he fucking made the car explode.

Re: Fiery Crash Between Motorcycle and Honda in Louisiana - Two Dead
If your motorcycle carries enough kinetic energy to demolish a car, tip it onto to its side, and make your gas tank to rupture like it was made out of tin foil, then excessive speed was the primary cause. This was the intersection next to Tiger Stadium on the LSU campus and the speed limit is clearly posted as 25 mph on the other side of the intersection. It would have been difficult for her to judge the closing speed of a single headlight approaching at night. She makemaketers worse by making the turn at <at angleat angleobably realized it was travelintravel and hesitatehesitant she had already committed. While that may have been a contributing factor, the speed of the motorcycle was the overwhelming to blame. |
