Re: Fiery Crash Between Motorcycle and Honda in Louisiana - Two Dead
Well, that’s one way to skip paying for parking. Guess she really left her mark—on the insurance premiums. Hope the motorcycle at least had the decency to say, 'Sorry, my bad,' before peeling off into the sunset. Rest in peace, Honda girl. You deserved better than a two-wheeled wrecking ball.

100000% the motorcyclist fault. You could hear his engine. Based on that sound as well as the resulting collision, he had to be going 90 or even 100mph at NIGHT, IN TRAFFIC. A person in a car looking down at oncoming headlights is incapable of judging the closing rate of that motorcycle, especially at night!

But if he was going much slower his gas tank might not have become a thermobaric / fuel air explosive bomb with secondary fires sending both combatants instantly to Hell / their individual karmas. It would have been the more common cyclist flying thru the air and vehicle driver surviving type of accident.

I have a BMW 1000 RR, and I can say this was the motorcyclist's fault. 1. He was speeding, 2. On a bike, you have to predict the situation and predict also for the other members of the traffic. On a bike, you have never a the right of way.

Literally, man. As I was crossing an intersection with a green light, I couldn’t stop thinking of this girl today, and how fucked up and random it would be if a speeding bike ran the red light and caused an explosion in our cars. You’re just minding your own business one second, the next you are on fire. Fuck! Family must be devastated.
