Re: Female Bike Passenger Dies After They Hit an AUDI at High Speed
It boggles the mind when I hear such disdain for a person on a motorcycle that passes you up at a high rate of speed. Bikers always get so defensive? I’m just pointing out the ridiculous remarks made by a pretentious douchebag like yourself who doesn’t have a clue. Bikers are hard to see, which is why they are required to have a headlight here in the US. Yeah, I think all motorcycles should have a headlamp. I think I’ll put mine back on next time I ride. “A 2008 study by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration analysis determined that DRLs offer no statistically significant reduction in the frequency or severity of the collisions studied.” So much for being too cool to have a day running light turned on, which by the way are turned on automatically when starting your bike. Bikers don’t give a shit! I think you’re offended when a biker races passed and ahead of you. You feel disrespected and shortchanged because you’re still sitting in traffic and the biker is not following the same rules. This goes to all you biker hating bitches, tough shit! The rider is the one who always gets killed while you’re tucked away in your car screaming; I didn’t see them coming. And you have the nerve to bitch about it when in reality you did that shit on purpose. Which is why I would have pulled that bitch our her car and proceeded to beat the shit of her, or him. This next comment proves my point! “Whenever one of these d-bags come passing me on the shoulder, in a no passing zone, in-between lanes, or at a ridiculous rate of speed, I bow my head and pray for them......that they will be splattered all over the road a few miles ahead.” Wow! Spoken like a true sociopath, really? Bow your head, pray for them, with your eyes closed, while driving in traffic no-less. This is what bikers have to deal with when we share the road with the likes of you. It's the reason why so many bikers end up dead because you finally grow the balls to kill one. |

You are an idiot. You are the kind of person I keep having to avoid, (and compensate for) when I'm riding. If YOUR supposed good driving involves other people (whether bikers or car people) taking evasive action because you drive so poorly, then YOU are the problem, NOT the bikers. |

Re: Female Bike Passenger Dies After They Hit an AUDI at High Speed
how does the speed of the bike matter?? even "if" it was doing 100kph, it would cover 27.8 metres a second that means 3 seconds from impact, the bike was only 83.4 metres away from the car if a driver cannot see a bike that is only 83.4 metres away from it, then they should not be on the road if it was doing 150kph (which i would suggest it most definitely wasn't), then the speed might have been an issue, but then it would be over 120 metres away. seriously, who the hell would run the risk of turning in front of a bike that was less than 85 metres away the rider had no chance to avoid that - none at all |

That bitch really flew! If there were a DR Olympic competition, she would get a 9 at least, she did a 1 and a half extended sommersault with head first dive into concrete, awesome airtime, she must have flown 25+ meters. Looking at it again, it appears the biker had the sun directly behind them, possibly blinding the driver. The biker with the Go-Pro camera kept looking at the car, I think he anticipated a possible accident with the biker approaching. |

Who of us didn't know someone personally who got killed in a bike crash? I know several, some were not even speeding and just got overseen by a turning truck. A reason why I sold my bike many years ago.

Car is at fault. I can see how it happened, with a low-set sun shining directly into the driver's eyes, and couple that with poor eyesight they probably didn't even see the bike. But it's still the responsibility of the driver to make sure the way is clear before advancing.
