Her helmet was off before she even made the first revolution. Didn't have a chance. AND she flew a lot longer than "a few meters".... Damn, that was 60 feet, but I think she hit the car first and that took off the helmet. Oh, and to add to the drama, yes, most bikers are assholes. You can say they "drive better than most cars" but that's because they go in and out of cars, distracting people, speeding, and simply not giving two fucks about the fact that you can, and will die acting like a douche canoe. Oh, and yes, I owned a bike for quite a few years. Never had the propensity to gun it in traffic, or crotch rocket around cars. Know why? That shit gets you killed. |

Unfortunately, that data is based on DRLs of all vehicles. The part you quote is referring to the increase of DRLs on vehicles other than motorcycles and it making the DRL of a motorcycle less conspicuous. It does not provide any data on the benefit of a DLR of a motorcycle alone. Common sense, however, tells you a motorcycle with a light in front is easier to see than one without. 3. Offended because I am still in traffic? Really? Is it offensive when someone thinks they don't have to follow the rules that the rest of us follow....yes, very. Who says I am a biker hater? I have no problem with bikers at all. I have a problem with idiots like you who cant follow simple laws. Its not that hard. Most deaths are accidents, the next cause would be bikers doing stupid things leading to accidents. I would guess the percentage of deaths that come from someone in a car purposely causing a bike accident, as you alleged, is almost zero. 6. Your "pretentious douchebag like yourself who doesn’t have a clue" is a typical Lib response.... calling people stupid and then back it up with no, or spun data. The fact is, I am smarter than you. gussbuster made a lot of sense except for one that i have to put my own bit of opinion. there are very few things i would consider accident. very very few. even here in DR. majority of the things i see here are results of carelessness, recklessness and lack of awareness. lost brakes and crashing? regular thorough check up  crane snapping killing people ? regular thorough check up many more. many are either intentional or human fault. not accident. i might call it accident if one was sitting one storey underground and got hit by lightning. buy if one was hit by lightning in the field, i still would not consider it accident. why would you be in a field when there's lightning striking? lightning usually gave signs in the clouds before it happens. |

In that respect, you are right. Human error is the cause of most accidents. I just mean accident as in it is not done on purpose or in a malicious way. Him saying people crash into motorcycles on purpose is ridiculous.

It almost looks like there is a blocked white line on the lane where the crashed bikers are coming from. Is that a stop sign as well? It briefly comes into view. BUT...they are both at fault. How do you not see that? In the states, if your turning, you are supposed to yield for the oncoming traffic. And the biker should have been able to see the car was already turning.  |
