Domestic Violence Call Ends with Cop Losing 2 Fingers and Suspect Shot in Head
A Municipal Police officer, in Mexico, who responded to a report of domestic violence ended up with the amputation of two fingers, while the aggressor lost his life after being shot in the head. It was around 3:00 in the morning in Cancún when neighbors reported that a man was attacking his partner and police support was required. The officers, upon arriving at the scene, tried to subdue 29-year-old L. E. N, who came out with a machete. The man hit police officer S. N. twice, cutting his arm and amputating two fingers. The officer managed to take out his weapon and fired, shooting the civilian in the head, who, after being evaluated by paramedics, confirmed that he had no vital signs. The Police Officer was transferred to the Hospital, where they reported that he was stable and under medical observation. According to sources, a Municipal Police supervisor arrived at the scene, who apparently met with L. E. N's wife, who confirmed that her partner was hitting her when the officers arrived. |

What kind of reaction time is that? As soon as he stands up he would have caught a bullet in each knee cap from me. That knife was serious

Geez, and this is Mexico, right? I expected him to walk in, see this guy holding a machete, then immediately put a hollow point between his eyes and end the threat permanent-like. Problem solved, case closed. Or maybe I'm thinking of Brazil.... I keep getting my Third World hellholes confused.
