Brazil: Businessman Shot And Killed Outside Restaurant
A businessman, identified as J.L.A. was shot dead on this Tuesday, 20th, in the city of Jacundá, in the southeast of Pará. The crime was committed around 11:30 am, when a man wearing a helmet arrived shooting at the victim in a restaurant on Avenida Cristo Rei, in the central region of the city. A customer who was present noticed the situation and left, but 'J', known as Zé Leandro in Jacundá, was hit and fell to the ground, receiving another shot while he was down. The shooter fled the scene, getting on a motorcycle. The entire crime was recorded by the local security cameras. The police were called by members of the public and began investigating the crime. The first measure taken was to hear witnesses and request video images from the establishment. The crime scene was preserved and the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Marabá was called to remove the body. 'J' was a well-known figure in the city of Jacundá and was currently married to Marta Costa, the current secretary of Policies for Women (Sepom). The family has not yet commented on the wake and burial. |

Pretty amazing the reaction or the non-reaction really. Sit there, watch someone get shot to death in front of you and just keep sitting there. Thats a helluva life to live where it’s just commonplace. |

I think maybe the guy who didn't get up was probably the one who tipped the shooter off. Otherwise you would think they would get the fuck out of dodge just in case the shooter didn't want to leave any witnesses |

Poor red motorcycle got the tank perforated. If I lived in Brazil and saw a guy in a motorcycle helmet walking towards me from 30 yards away I'd would shoot him with extreme prejudice. |
