Re: Daghestan 7 Conscript Beheading Aftermath Video?
They talk in chechen language, I think he might be one of the scouts or maybe fighter or leader of another group. We need to find person who can translate the whole video, because sometimes they talk in their own language

Re: Daghestan 7 Conscript Beheading Aftermath Video?
Hanze, great work compiling that article, and thanks again vmk and RussianKaliber for sharing so much. I found some other bits of info, most of it you already have so I'll post the stuff that's different: - The name "Aleksey Paranin" is listed instead of "Aleskey Konstantinov", which is also the name RussianKaliber posted earlier in this thread. - According to this source, Vitaly Tashkin's "wife and little girl still don't know how he died". (sad) Here's a blog with some info in Russian, it's tough to read the translation, but the picture is another pic of the memorial cross: http://history-lak.livejournal.com/11652.html Here's a large Russian article about the incident. Lots of info you already have pieced together, but of interest is a description of the investigation/trial and direct testimony from Tamerlane Khasaev, which you may have some of already: http://www.utro.ru/articles/2002073003402292279.shtml Some other info with pictures that you have at least two of: http://www.bratishka.ru/archiv/2004/8/2004_8_3.php |

Re: Daghestan 7 Conscript Beheading Aftermath Video?
Hanze: Are there any pictures of these young men before their horrific torturous end came? Like regular pictures, with family, them smiling, or military photos of them? How about the memorials that were built to honor them? I obviously Google searched all the names and couldn't find much of anything. Even official documents or newspaper articles about this massacre. There is nothing out there on the internet. Hopefully you see this post I wrote here. Thank you. |

Yes, they were given to me by VMK and I used them in an article I then wrote- http://www.documentingreality.com/fo...rticle-136718/ it includes links to relevant photos. I hope that helps. |
