In that job, if the workers are so fucking stupid even THEY don't know when it's safe, then NO ONE should be doing that work. Sub contract it to someone who is an expert. Or at least not a moron. |

The last time I worked on a pole it belonged to an almost seven-foot Norwegian. I worked that pole like it owed me money. Stroked it, slapped it, talked to it real sweet like then choked it thoroughly, made sure that pole knew who was boss. I throttled that pole until it finally gave up its sauce. Milky and viscous it was, slimy and yet some might say beautiful. It was the whitest grey, chunky in parts, long thick ropes at first, then dribbled down the web between my ring finger and thumb. I guess the pole got sleepy after a while and shrunk up faster than a slinky at the bottom of a stair run. The lesson is that if you play with a pole more than a dozen times, it's likely to erupt on you.
