By the family of the accused, by their own family, or by some random predator who reads about it in the news and decides she's an easy mark who likes getting raped.

There's no escaping it for many of them. They're just trapped in an endless cycle of institutional abuse, familial abuse, spousal abuse, professional abuse...it goes round and round and round until they finally just decide to accept it or die.

They either kill themselves or they try to find a new life, in which case their husbands kill them or their families kill them for disrespecting them.
