Re: Brazilian Policeman Executes Street Vendor in Broad Daylight
You are correct-o-mundo it happened in that bastion of women's rights, lovely Brazil...but it wouldn't be much different as far as legalities or policies if it had happened in the US. I laid it all out in my first response. I think here in the US or Canada there would have been more officers present at the time contact and to control the crowd. Legally, the officer would have been completely justified in using deadly force...given the same circumstances. It's a no brainer. In the US and Canada the officer would have rights under the civil service system and the police bill of rights...so the left leaning gutless mayor couldn't fire the officer and the officer would have specific rights. So from that perspective, the officer would have been better off shooting that idiot here in the US.

Re: Brazilian Policeman Executes Street Vendor in Broad Daylight
Ah yes...a dogmatic anti-police progressive with an agenda. I shake my head in amazement. Go forth Mr./Mrs. Icheerthebull and scream at the grass...you're right, I've never contributed or had the argument over my background before this week...so just ignore me. While you're shouting at the grass blades making no difference...I'll continue doing what I've been doing since I retired and getting paid handsomely to contribute my non-existent and made up experience to help save honest, hard working police officers' jobs and police department's reputations and budgets. Let's all help Mr./Mrs. Icheerthebull...1, 2, 3, "Wa wa wa...the police are evil! Mr. 30564u is a big hairy mean racist! Wa wa wa...I speak the truth...no one must disagree...wa wa wa." By the way...Ferguson is in Missouri and you're a few weeks too late. |

The suit the deceased is wearing in the first pic is negated by the way he reacted to the police detaining a person who was clearly resisting arrest.

Re: Brazilian Policeman Executes Street Vendor in Broad Daylight
Completely justified. Just look at the situation, you have 3 cops and an angry crowd taunting and prodding at them in the midst of an arrest. He has his gun out and is clearly trying to secure the area. There are about 4 instigators right up front trying to start shit, and that one asshole got HIMSELF killed. I give no fucks either way for or against guns, so there's no agenda here...just common sense. Don't be a part of a crowd around cops in the midst of an arrest...especially when one has his gun drawn and looks somewhat terrified that this may escalate. Why do people do this? Stupid. If you're gonna gawk, do it from a good safe distance. |

Cop points gun at me and tells me to leave, I leave. I would hazard a guess that anyone with a brain cell or two would do the same. Justified 100%. The cop did well as it was given the hostile crowd. |

Re: Brazilian Policeman Executes Street Vendor in Broad Daylight
What he hell was that guy playing at? Did he have a fucking death wish or something????Playing heroes didnt work out too well did it? never does. People need to leave the cops alone to do their business, specially when theres a fucking loaded gun thrown into the mix. Sad but inevitable result of poking ones nose in where its not needed. Now his kids have no father. Result eh? |
