That's truly the BEST FUCKING PART of the whole thing: The defense lawyer saw the vid and figured he would try to capitalize on the current anti-cop political climate using the Tulsa PD Chief's initial mischaracterization of the shooting as his leverage, by trying to paint Ware as some poor defenseless victim of police brutality who was in fear for his life. Then he turned around and filled the shitbag's sister's head with a bunch of bullshit after he filed his bullshit motion.

And of course the ignorant sister was on FB commenting about how the attorney's bullshit version of events was fact because it's "in a LEGAL DOCUMENT filed on [date]." That daffy bitch was too ignorant to understand that ANYONE can file ANY motion full of ANY amount of bullshit. The body cam blows his "I feared for my life" defense right out of the water because it's clear by the shitbag's own admission of "I don't wanna go to jail!" immediately prior to his reaching for the gun what he was really afraid of.

It almost makes me want to believe that the TPD Chief's initial mischaracterization was a calculated step to get the defense attorney all up in a tizzy enough to file for the release of the footage, or if the defense attorney is trying to set up some sort of insufficient counsel or biased jury defense on appeal. If the intention was to mitigate his client's blame by minimizing his client's malicious intent, then he fucked up in the worst possible way because that could've been argued in court without releasing the footage. And since this incident isn't big national news right now, a simple change of venue prior to jury selection will ensure that no court in the land will uphold any future appeals on the grounds of jury bias.

I'll be surprised if that attorney gets hired to represent anyone in anything more than traffic court after this is all said and done and shitbag is sentenced to death.
