The jail supervisor told Channel 8 that 29-year-old Matthew Hall was found unresponsive in his cell Tuesday with a sheet around his neck.

Paramedics arrived and helped resuscitate him. Hall was taken to the hospital and ultimately returned to jail.

Hall was arrested in connection with the June 29 shooting of two Tulsa police officers.

Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan were shot after an overnight traffic stop, allegedly by David Ware.

Johnson suffered fatal wounds. Zarkeshan is progressing in his recovery.

Hall is accused of driving Ware away from the scene of the shooting. Hall is charged with accessory to murder and accessory to a felony.

Ware, 32, faces multiple charges, including first-degree murder.

Hindsight is always clearer...I would have given the suspect a third chance...after that, it becomes obvious the tactics/protest he uses against the officers is because he has a weapon.

ON A SIDE NOTE:
I believe it would be the benefit of every police department to have access to a venomous snake instead of a canine for those who risk extraction from their vehicle. No discussion...No arguing..."Sir, we are about to open this snake's cage in your passenger seat". EVERYBODY would get the fuck out...Think about it...Six foot long rattlesnake? If you get bitten and resist, they may or may not have anti-venom for you...Suspect's decision.
