Truthfully, even the most ardent statehooder would prefer independence in their heart of hearts. They're just afraid of winding up like Venezuela. Feeling slow today. I did not understand teh batman nickname until around post #40.  Anyway, it looked to me like batman was backing off from the physical threat when the gunman feigned helplessness. Batman pulled back hit the car and probably was preparing to walk away if the other guy stayed passive. That's how I read the body language. That homicide seemed like a planned "surprise attack" from the get-go by spineless man. Most likely, all he had to do was show his gun to end the wrath of batman. |

my personal opinion is that gun crime is high enough to warrant self defence by way of ending the conflict as soon as possible  |
