In Merlo, a suburb of Buenos Aires, Argentina, 43-year-old Matías Alejandro Guiñazú, nicknamed 'Hueso' ('Bone'), murdered his 42-year-old partner, Soledad I., with at least 25 stab wounds. Police were alerted to the scene after neighbors reported a heated argument. After police arrived, Matías cut himself with a knife and tried to goad the police into killing him - "Shoot me, what are you waiting for? Kill me at once". The officers eventually subdued Matías using rubber bullets and stun guns. Wounded, Matías was taken to hospital under police supervision, where he remains with a guarded prognosis. He is set to be charged with aggravated homicide, with a possible penalty of life imprisonment.   |

Non lethal rounds. They should have shot at his hand with those, maybe he would have dropped the knife. On a side note who would have thought Argentina had non lethal means, if DR is any indication it seems everyone just gets shot or stabbed to death lol. |

Sounded like a sideshow carnival with all those gongs! I guess they get a gong every time they hit him with a rubber bullet. Would have like to have seen them gonging him for 30 minutes or so, after he dropped the knife.  |
