It always really amazes me how avoidable a lot of the deaths posted here are. These guys are pretty exemplary in that regard. It would have been REALLY easy to make a more obviously safe and cautious decision. How did NONE OF THEM THINK TO BAIL?!

Im inclined to blame the truck more than the bikers. He was in the opposite lane actually. That road is one lane per direction. He knows theres a merging / intersection area and he should not have overtaken in that specific area. The bike is in the right lane, of course they were also wrong in observing correct lane merging procedure by going along the extension shoulder before going to the main lane. I can guess they were going too fast and loaded too heavy to make accurate banking turns. Driver was probably looking behind too see if other vehicles are going their way. But they are still on the right lane and the truck is not.
Only a woman would think that's a two way road!
You can see the directional slack and white signs on the off road on the second video. Why the fuck would they be facing AGAINST the traffic?!
