Normally, i don't support the random shooting pigs wih badges, but this situation was pretty clear. The thug moved very fast, cop was even faster, thug ccould have been smarter and he probably lived with the possibility of parole. He was just "De'Von" so he is dead now  Can't say this is a good thing, but it was a risky situation and the moment the young dude started to run, he was so fucking dead  |

But it's funny as fuck, even when getting old This particular situation is more than clear, his hands wandering around his waist, he is jut "De'Von" for his friends and the police aaand he started to run. One less quarterback for the local team, one less college student for the district, one less worker, one less food stamp user, one less thug for da' hood, who knows? Although the good old "but he could have been tasered" is a real argument, but not here.... he was suspicious as fuck, so good riddance. |

Get the fuck out with that shit. I'm loathing pigs with badges as much as anybody, but... Few posts above you can see the kid has a gun, robbed somebody and you may never know when he is going to pull out his weapon to shoot you, because he thought it would be a good idea to rob somebody, then casually speak on the scene then when the cops arrive, acting suspicious then run away.... you all know the rules, plaay stupid games, win stupid prizes. If age was a considerable factor, he wouldn't have been carrying. Also the pigs at least called for a medkit/assistance. Kid died because of his own stupidity, pigs did their job Tasering is not alwas a good enough idea, the other one ,made it out alive, body cam footage released, case fucking closed. If BLM wants to protest, the can kiss my ass. Make another "De'von" then fuck right off. This wasn't a case of racism, the cop who shoot him was legit sad and shocked, will probably have some form of PTSD, becaue he killed a kid. Let that be enough for him and let these police body cam footages be a part of the regular schooling of young adults, then maybe 50 years from now on, ******* (white or black or anyone) won't flee the scene after they robbed somebody |

The police had a report of two people with a gun. If he had a conceal carry permit we are instructed to say I have a gun and permit, no way he had a permit or was it a legal gun. Why run if it was legit

Well, upon review, I never once saw a firearm in that young man's hand, let alone aiming one at the officers! Lethal force was NOT justified in this situation! Yes, the officer should have his weapon drawn, and yes, the officer should be prepared to use it at any moment (even lethally so, i.e. firing at center of mass, etc.), but NOT firing the weapon until justifiable cause is met! There's definite lawsuit material here, which incidentally would no doubt be settled outside of court, however I do not think the officer should be terminated (depending on previous work performance notwithstanding) as there was no malicious intent, just nerves and fear! But, remedial training, and counselling should be a must!!!
