Nope...no real proof in an article...but I have seen the inbreds north of our area....and they resemble.... want a reference that really looks INBRED???..go look at that x-Files with "the peacocks"...that is what they really do look like. |

Just have to throw out there - inbreeding doesn't cause mutations. The "defects" you see are already present, but recessive. We're all more than likely walking around with a little odd sumthin hiding in the shadows of our DNA, but for the most part, that's where it stays. When inbreeding occurs, you're increasing the chances that these hidden/recessive genes are going to join up and manifest themselves. Technically, if you had siblings with no hidden weirdness in their DNA, they should be able to make babies all day long and not have anything bad happen... Unless you want to get into the social aspects... |
