Oh, trust me, I know all about that which is why I chose to not really read much of this thread or reply to it. Sometimes it's just wasting time and energy.

I know I am probably wasting my time but it is a subject that is important and close to my heart.
If anyone is a self harmer I understand this would be a definite trigger. Not that I am saying you are Hon... Just an observation... I actually found these pics cos I was searching for self harm images one day when I was down... anyway... thank you for your replies ... I was reluctant to say anything at all but I felt I should anyway... x

Oh, I have been since the age of 12 and I understand what you're saying completely. It's close to my heart as well, but when ever I mention anything about it to anyone, the emo and attention whore crap comes up so I shut up. I'm open about my issues and have been picked on and called more names than I can count, but I still try to get people to understand that not everyone does this for attention. Some yes. I've have friends that would do it just to make their parents or who ever feel bad and I was accused of doing that as well, which is why I'm now so open about it. I don't flaunt it or flash it around, but when people ask, I do admit to it. Some people are understanding, but most shake their heads and laugh.

I'd write more, but it's late and I need sleep and I will brace myself for emo comments.

Thank you for what you said... I too have BPD and it's killing me, I cut and burn, and I always have the feeling I want to die all the time... I could do it right now and not even think twice about it... I hit a vein a few weeks ago, blood was everywhere... but I can't stop because that's the nature of BDP, my emotions control me and SI is the only pain reliever... and how people react to it is only making it worse... some people can be such ***holes... they should keep there comments to themselves.
