This is Kelly Ronahan, someone suffering from fictitious disorder imposed on herself, AKA Munchausen syndrome. She started off by bleeding herself, whilst claiming she had some sort of mystery disorder that required regular blood transfusions to treat the low iron and haemoglobin in her blood.

She made it to the news, which only fed her desire for more attention:

Once it became clear that she could no longer continue the lie, she moved onto another "issue"

She started picking at her legs, burning them, putting chemicals on them, rubbing all sorts of shit in the wounds. Eventually she managed to doctor shop enough to get a "diagnosis" of behcet's syndrome. Seeing as she isn't a middle eastern man and didn't present with any of the typical symptoms, most informed people see right through her bullshit.

Eventually it got so bad she needed a muscle transplant and skin grafts to cover up the holes in her lower leg. Whilst she was recovering in the hospital (well watched and with stout dressings that would show any tampering) her legs healed perfectly. The grafts, the other "sores" and the donor sites all rapidly healed.

Not long after she was discharged, she started fucking with them again. First the skin graft donor site, then the grafted area, then the rest of her legs. She nearly died from sepsis and had to have an emergency double above the knee amputation. She now has 2 stumps. I haven't seen nor heard much of her since then, she has barely posted anything, at least in comparison to the levels she used to post at.

The thing is she gleefully documented everything. There are hundreds of photos and videos of her "progress". It's absolutely fascinating, though once you go down the Munchausen by internet/FDIS rabbithole, you'll lose dozens of hours wondering how the fuck people can do this shit to themselves.
