Re: Some EMO Girl Needs Serious Help
I cant help but wonder why. Its hard to wrap my mind around wanting to hurt one's self to such a degree.(I feel kinda guilty for wondering too,I dunno why)I've never cut,I pull my hair out when I'm really stressed, and take Prozac and Trazedone, which works for me,fortunately. There's heaps I'd love to ask her.Like what painkillers is she taking, does she think of the future, when did she start cutting, whats the deepest she's gone, stuff like that.Yes I am morbidly curious, but not cos I think she's a freak.I'd really like to try and understand why she and others hurt themselves like this. She's obviously anorexic, and I'd presume bulimic as well,I wonder too if she realize the effect these are going to have on her bones, female issues, and the like.I used to do both as well, and TG my stomach started hurting so bad it did drive me to quit. Its better to be chunky than super thin and in pain all the time.Kills the tooth enamel terribly too. Is she expecting to live? She just seems so lost and hopeless I had to ask,for anyone that talks to her. All I can say is I wish this was fake and someone out there is just mucking about with make up effects. Its just so sad knowing someone is in this much pain to punish them self so cruelly. If she ever does get to be "normal",she wouldnt be able to tattoo any of her scarred areas would she? My line of thinking is cover scars at all costs,so I probably wouldnt make a good cutter. I really hope she is seeing a good therapist, and she can get herself "normal". |

I can't cut myself because I'd ruin my good looks. She needs to rub some vitamin E on those scars and go eat some foood |

Re: Some EMO Girl Needs Serious Help
I'm gonna take a wild guess here and suggest she probably doesn't care, if she is also not terribly worried about such things as infections, blood loss, scarring, etc i can't imagine her thinking about like, osteoporosis in the future. I'm not sure why you presume she's bulimic, as they are generally heavier than that. Again, I seriously doubt she's that worried about scars. Those kinds of scars wouldn't tattoo well, I wouldn't say, they are too deep, the scar tissue would be very thick and lumpy and therefore wouldn't disguise well anyway no matter what you put on it. Your line of thinking is to cover scars, but I am just saying that not everyone feels that way about scars. I have tons (mostly from stupid things like sports and falling out of trees) and have never really felt the need to hide them at all. Agreed on the wondering about what medications she is on though, since someone said she doesn't feel pain from it! You'd have to be on some heavy stuff. I know I've had narcotic painkillers after surgeries and so on and still felt pain, so I have no clue what or how much of what she must be on. I'm glad your medications work for you, but everyone is different, and that's why you can't understand what she is doing, methinks. |

Re: Some EMO Girl Needs Serious Help
I don't cut so deep, just a few skinlayers. Never need for stitching. When I cut it takes away all the worries and most of my feelings. I've got more controlled after the meds so I can stay of for weeks even, months sometimes. *masochism Damn, I knew you was from sweden :O |

Re: Some EMO Girl Needs Serious Help
When I cut, it feels like I'm kinda letting the steam out of a pressure cooker, you know? I feel relieved. It helps me sleep too.. But I need stitches all the time, but I never get them.. Besides, I also like to pick the crusts of.. Don't know why.. |
