Re: My Relapse
Another depressed person here *raises hand*. I think people got it all wrong. Depression isn't always bad. Some days it hurts so bad that it feels good. To me, it keeps me in check so I don't expect too much from life. I've never desired to cut but I punch myself in the face when I get angry sometimes |

Re: My Relapse
I dont see how posting your bloody arm is helpful. Or taking on a bunch of lables that change or get more letters added on them every few years. One thing I notice is that people who work hard have less problems. |

Re: My Relapse
I'd like to point out that borderline personality disorder and depression are two vastly different things, and that this individual is likely seeking attention and validity to offset her turbulent emotional state. If she has a mental health team, there is literally nothing any one of us can do to help her except validate her suffering. Borderlines also have the highest rate of completed suicide, so tread carefully. Also, this is a good thread with impressive pictures - but I really hope it doesn't turn in to goading. slyksleevemuckyey please let me know if you have other input. MadChef have you spoken to your mental health primary counselor or contact since you began self-harming again? |

Re: My Relapse
I used to work two jobs. Since my Doctor suggested quitting at least one job on a trial basis, I've actually been getting better. She said it seemed as if the more stressful my life became, the more frazzled I appeared to her. So, while your assumptions might hold true for some, they obviously do not hold up to snuff for many others.
