It is a nice story and I enjoyed all the lovely pictures, but it is just a story. While mercury is indeed poisonous, it doesn't cause that sort of injury. they got those people that eat light bulbs and lick the insides... i forgot what region but i watched it on history channel. that looked like it was an infected cut that had to get cut open. could have been caused by that though. anyone can have an allergic reaction to anything being an infection or sickness |

I call bullshit. I have accidentally handled mercury before and it absolutely does not cause this. I agree with the suggestion that the person is diabetic.
