There was a post about a week ago from Magenta (I think) which showed some abscesses being drained. They were YouTube vids and I started watching some of them. This video was one of the other similar vids linked at the bottom. It's called something like (Name's) Stomach Cheese. It is an abscess and in the YouTube video she can be heard saying that the doctor has drained it once, but she can't believe how much pus she still has. This video pales in comparison to the video of what appears to be an African man having a huge abscess on his leg opened. The pus pours out and the doctor really gets his hand in there to push out wave after wave of it. At first I thought this was a little barbaric (the doctor seems very rough) but my friend who is a nurse at the Mayo Clinic says she has had to do similar stuff to ensure all of the infected material is cleaned away before the wound is packed. By the way, it's "pus." Not puss. The first is gross, the latter is a cat or a cunt. |
