Well, safe to say they kept you medicated... Figured was a morphine drip.. But a hydromorphone pump (Aka Dilaudid)? DAMN.... (They weren't screwing around...  )Good to hear you're home and doing well. As for the video? well, got a clear shot of the hand and the burn on your face.. Just made it even more clear how bad it had to have been. And your post-op pics? Yikes... But , I know they were POST-op... and weren't cleaned up yet. (Why do surgeons/nurses do that nonsense? butcher you up, put you back together half decent-perfectly but not clean the area post-op? pet peeve of mine.) Anyways. Take care man, rest and relaxation, good food, meds, heal up and back at it. |

HAPPY NEWS YEAR TO ALL!!! I got some fresh pictures for you all if you want. Took them all (except 20131228_094408 and my best pal Fido) last night, December 30th 2013. Things are coming along slowly but in the right direction. I have even been working in the shop. I do a few hours working, a couple hours rest, a few hours working . I must be very careful to not hit it or strain it and keep it clean. I wish I could rest but being a single parent with mortgage and all the other bills, I gotta get some dollars rolling in. I don't even want to think what the week in the Intensive Care Burn Unit is gonna cost me. Oh, well as long as I'm alive and have my kids and dog all will be well. Money is just paper, nice to have but really not good for much more than toilet paper or starting a fire in the wood stove. Thought I would through in a picture of my little Fido, she is an awesome friend, ALWAYS there for me.

Where da dog?  What kind of shop do you have? Just curious: how do the drs. determine which leg/ part of the body to take skin grafts from? Will you have feeling in the grafted skin? Sorry about all the questions, just wondering |
