Sorry it's been a while but it's been rough, hard to type, well hard to do anything. I just got home from burn unit. They did a very good job considering how bad thing were and how long I waited.

I have not cleaned my hand in those pictures, looks better when clean. Home with some GOOD drugs to keep me happy. I'm just happy to be back home a full week laying on my back in a bed sucked. I didn't get to move at all not even to lay on my side, never got out of bed just stuck there. So nice to be able to walk around. Oh, and food, real food again not that crap you get there. A late Merry Christmas to you all.

Hopefully that morphine drip is helping with the pain and not just frying your brain.
Since they have you on that, that speaks magnitudes of the amount of pain they predict you to be in.
I dealt with the tv as much as I could, had a laptop.. but no internet access ...
Yes, you missed the holiday. But.. Your risk of dying from infection or losing your hand have dropped drastically.
Hang in there, rest when you can, and do the physical therapy when they start you on it.. Will probably hurt at first, But will save you pain in the future and help with the mobility of your hand in the long run.

I was beyond Morphine they had me on Hydromorphone wich is stronger than morphine and even heroin, mg to mg. They were also giving me Oxycotin, morphine and a few other thing in my cocktail.
