if these pictures go in order of how they were taken, the first cuts dont look so bad. they appear to be "attention cuts" but as time goes on, and the need for attention has not been acknowledged, the pain of thinking no one cares enough to notice causes more emotional pain on the inside.
cutting can become an addiction. and as time goes on you begin to make deeper cuts and they dont hurt as bad as they look.
i dont kno this person's story, but i was a "self mutilator" from age 12, then hospitalized at age 17 for it. even after i was released i wouldnt say i made a "100% recovery" both my arms are covered in scars that doctors have told me "plastic surgery won't even fix that"
i feel for this kid. he/she clearly needs someone to talk to that they can trust before it gets even worse... everyone deserves to be happy, this is horrible :/
