I havnt read all the comments on this topic... but, doesnt anyone think theese pics are intended for personal documentation? and someone got hold of them in one way or another? its not that uncommon to take pictures of your self inflicted wounds to document it for yourself. i did for a few years. the thing is that it helps in a way. i can look back on older pics and say: "hey, this time it wasnt as bad as then". that is a good start to quit the cutting i think. and all this bullshit about "how can they go outside with a shortsleeved shirt.." and so on. you come to a point when you dont care about other people looking at your scars. no, its not because of attention or sympathy or anything like that. you just simply dont care anymore. the scars have become a "natural" part of you and something you live with every hour, every day. thats it. but to be fair. there are a lot of attention whores out there. "buhu i didnt get the new iPhone" and shit like that. the above is not about them. its about people who have serious issues and are mentally ill. anyway... i just wanted to speak my mind... |
