Re: Airlifting A 1345-Pound Man
[QUOTE=Not be cruel, but if you let yourself go that much. The taxpayers and hospitals should not be required to help you at that point. The chances of you dying far outweigh the chances of weight loss and full recovery. At that point it is just a waste of money.[/QUOTE] That is a hard question to ponder. I think if it were me, I'd really want a second chance and be glad to be getting help. But the me that I AM says yes hopeless why bother. |

Re: Airlifting A 1345-Pound Man
I don't believe 'health problems' as the reason he's THAT heavy. Someone that weight needs to eat around 10,000 calories a day to maintain their weight... He is overeating times 1000!!! When you're this size just STOP EATING AND YOU LOSE WEIGHT!!! Even with intervention, people this weight have a less than 5% chance of surviving and getting to a 'healthy' weight. He probably has a life expectancy of less than one year in his current condition. As I'm writing this he's probably already dead... |

Re: Airlifting A 1345-Pound Man
He is actually still alive. The article shows pictures.. no recent pics found anywhere else. But did read he's down to like 200kg (440lbs) now, with the use of diet exercise and surgery.. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...alks-time.html |
