Re: Young Couple Executed in a Bar
Someone is messing with the game, first pic has the 6 ball near the corner and on the last pic is the seven! anyway, a soft touch on the seven, and then the eight ball in the corner pocket will close the game. In retrospect the Indian was shooting pool and someone was shooting at him, not an even game to play. |

Re: Young Couple Executed in a Bar
Yeah, I know that racism and classism are both endemic in most parts of the world, especially undeveloped countries. I more meant that I wasn't sure, based on the context, exactly what the prejudice was in this particular case. The article wasn't clear. I mean, if the guy's nickname was 'The Indian', I assume that his indigenous peoples were not very prevalent in the area, or he wouldn't have stood out. Anyway, thanks for the clarification and explanation. More data is always appreciated. |

Re: Young Couple Executed in a Bar
Yeah, based on her body and (especially) her leg position, it almost seems as though he was shot and went down on the floor and she was still standing and backing away in terror when when she took a shot to the head and fell back across his body. Or maybe she tripped over him and was drilled in the brain when she was lying supine. In either case, it's a fair assumption that he was shot and fell before she was shot at all. The situation always seems worse (from my perspective) when we have reason to think they knew it was coming and had time to think and react to it. Dying with no knowledge of the forthcoming moment is one thing, but seeing it coming for you with a .38? Freaks me the fuck out, let alone an 18 year old girl. |
