Young Couple Executed in a Bar
They called him 'The Indian.' His girlfriend Marta, excited about celebrating her 18th birthday, just wanted to have a beer and play some pool with her man. So off they went to the local beer joint. They were hanging out, shooting some pool and chilling together...carefree and laid back as an Indian and his Lady are wont to be on a balmy Brazilian afternoon. And in walks some motherfucker who shoots them both dead. The Indian was riddled with lead and the girl, poor little Marta, got one in the chest and another one right in the brainbox. Dropped her like a fucking ox. No one seems to know what The Indian or his girl may have done to provoke such harsh retribution. The bartender said that no one liked The Indian, but that he wasn't a bad guy. He was mostly disliked for his ethnic and social class, whatever that means in Brazil. In any event, it went hard for both of them. Now The Indian's left a few gallons of blood on the floor and poor Marta has a hole in her noggin and the bar is closed down for investigation. No winners here. |

Re: Young Couple Executed in a Bar
In many countries there are indigenous people and then there are the "people". There are native Brazilians, i.e. no Portuguese, that are looked down upon just like Native Americans. Most of South America has this type of dichotomy in their population with lots of racism between them. I know in Malaysia (yes I know that is in Asia), there are the Malaysians and then there are the "Indians" who are so looked down upon. My ex-boss was from there and he told me all about this. |
