Young Girl Killed In Hit And Run
On Sunday October 18th a young girl was tragically killed in a hit and run. Thankfully the driver of the vehicle was later caught by the police.   |

And why do you think the driver is a "bastard"? As far as we know the accident could have been either party's fault, and he may have panicked and fled the scene as a lot of folks would do. That makes him wrong (unless there was danger of mob violence against him at the scene), but not a bastard.

If not a "bastard", how about "asshole" or "douchebag"? Yes, it could have been either party's fault, but I don't believe "a lot of folks" would flee the scene if they did nothing wrong and had nothing to hide. Fleeing makes you look guilty whether you did something wrong or not. And even if the girl was at fault, he's still a bastard for driving off instead of say, calling for help (not that much probably could have been done). Bet you'd have some names for him of your own in mind if you had a kid and it was them laying there dead in the road.
