My thing is, did she bring the knife with her in hopes that it sucked enough for her to kill herself? The motive just doesn't seem to add up to me?

I am pretty sure she didn't kill herself because the movie sucked  She was suicidal, depressed and as Vedderman described in his post she chose this unique place so she could be found quickly. |
