I don't agree with the execution of innocent civilians, however, you have brought up a very valid point. I've said this multiple times now - it's a tough call to charge soldiers that are in a war zone. We don't know all the facts, we weren't there that day. If you've never been shot at or had people trying to kill you then you have no idea what it feels like. I'll tell you what it feels like, it feels like you are a ball being kicked around a field and you have no control. All professional soldiers are taught to be the ones doing the kicking and to avoid being the ball, that is a fact. It's obvious that some of these soldiers never passed their phsyc evaluation but were passed anyway.

Once again not a military problem. We could curb immigration in 3 months if the army could deploy or better yet, the guard. DC isn't stepping up to the plate, so that mean average citizens must. Have you seen the news of the fence being put up and the mass uproar it caused? Washington gets scared. Thats why we have 1/4 of our military in other countries. I'm not in agreeance with this policy but what can I do? Write my Senator? Hell, at least I tried to make things better, and even if we failed, at least I tried. What have you done, since this is such a touchy subject to you?

This is a LE issue. Constitution is very specific about military not being involved in domestic issues. Since the patriot act it has become a bit blurred. Normally a state agency could ask for equipment and technical support. Anymore LE and Military have about the same rules of engagement, with the military getting the offensive nod much easier than LE.

All border crimes whether it is drugs or mules, fit in the same pot. No one has looked at that yet .

I can't believe we are this stupid. There has to be a political ploy involved.
