Death Mix (Thailand, Dominican Republic, Brazil)
1. On the night of 23rd March 2014 in Rama (Thailand), 42 year old M.T. committed suicide. The man was a patient at the Rama 2 hospital. He had been in + out of hospital many times, having been diagnosed with "psychiatric symptoms, tuberculosis + alcoholism". The man was on the 4th floor, isolated in room #405. He had to have his hands + legs tied to prevent self-injury (he had a history of self-harm). It's believed that he set himself on fire with a lighter.       2. Dominican Republic, 11th July 2022.  3. In the early hours of 29th July 2022 in Anapu (Brazil), 18 year old D.S.C. was murdered. Security at a nearby building heard screaming + they went to investigate. Inside a house, 'D' was found dead. The teenager had been bound, gagged + beaten before being stabbed to death. On the afternoon of 3rd August, I.R.M. + R.M.d.A. were arrested on suspicion of murder.

I'm in disbelief how number 1 a patient in a mental hospital with high self harming suicidal tendencies and was even tied down ...managed to keep hold of a lighter  i worked in a private psychiatric hospital in Liverpool for about 5 years and there was one lady the most smart dressed groomed you could imagine.had a lovely family who visited etc but she was very suicidal would find the slightest thing to try and harm herself with(believe me anything will do there that determined)anyhoo everything brought into the hospital were better before being taken onto the wards..things like having to take the staplers out of magazines no plastic bags,with some patients no show laces or toilet roll was allowed..one day some dick forgot the rules and brought a plastic bag onto the ward and this patient i mentioned was that determined to kill herself on between the 15 minute level of observation she was on she tied the bag around her head and lay on bed and suffercated herself she was that deteoned to die she worked herway down the level of obs ie 2:1, 1:1, etc until she knew she had a few mins in between being checked on to end her life..sorry for the essay picture 1 of that burnt man reminded me of my personal stories |
