It's the rib cage poking up the most, the casket being made of partical board has been long gone. We had use a water pump to get rid of as much fluid as possible, then dig on the sides and ends to "dislodge" the remains and try to pull it up as "whole" as possible. I still had to fish out the skull, arms, bottom parts of the legs, and feet by hand. Thank God for rubber suits............ |

Put them in another wooden casket. We build this one out of oak, so it will last about a decade at least. It doesn't have any of the fancy lace or anything, but it was going straight back in the ground too, so there's no need for "show" I guess. Next time I'll take close ups, because we deal with this type of thing about 4 times a year, sometimes more. |
