Sad, you never got a chance to live her life, have children, and enjoy her friends and family to the fullest.

Re: Samantha Carolyn Sutton Death

Junkies do not share. I highly doubt he would waste shit on trying to kill her.
I've seen them share many times - not with random people but with friends, partners, etc.

I didn't say that he meant to kill her but rather that his intention might have to keep her hooked: he knew she was trying to quit. The link I posted at the start of the thread deals with what the family think went on and this boyfriend guy.

The other deal is that she never bought and didn't take any heroin that day or evening. The coroner's report lists a variety of drugs in her system but not heroin.

Oh and the boyfriend wasn't a druggie - he was your standard tough guy petty criminal.

Re: Samantha Carolyn Sutton Death

I live in Philadelphia and the issue with Heroin is getting worse every year and many call it a a epidemic. One of the issues is that the quality of the Heroin is so pure here. Most of it comming through the Ports and the airport its not cut down and diluted like in most suburban and rural areas.
To make matters worse often it is cut with Fentanyl a extremely powerful opoid pain killer only given in extreme cases and terminally ill patients. One $5.00 bag can kill you and if not one or two more will get you hooked on a serious addiction.

Re: Samantha Carolyn Sutton Death

Yes, that was the cause.

What the family is trying to figure out (if they can) is whether it was due to accidental, suicide or homicide - there was no inquiry conducted. The boyfriend's story was taken at his word.

The coroner reports are very vague with certain details omitted and protocol not followed.

The family is also looking at something more sinister: that the boyfriend may have injected her with heroin to keep her hooked but she OD'd having already taken other substances, such as withdrawal medication, that she bought from the boyfriend's friend (I don't think she bought heroin from the guy).

A guy selling pills that help addicts overcome the withdrawals from heroin and is also selling heroin? Doesn't make sense. The boyfriend would have known that. Maybe he's the one that bought the $50 of heroin.

One of those strange stories that raise more questions than they answer. Doesn't help that authorities will not release a number of related documents to the family.
I actually knew of people who was at the rehab I went to just to get the subutex for when they didn't have money for heroin. It's free over here. I don't know about America but is it cheaper than heroin? Anything would be better than withdrawals and dealers know that.

Fentanyl isn't anywhere near as bad as oxycontin. Now that shit is on a par with heroin.

if you're going to get high on opioids, always be with someone else in case you stop breathing.

Fentanyl is far more powerful than oxycontin.

Carfentanil is 100x more power than Fentanyl.

Fentanyl is starting to become more common.

As is Carfentanil...to a much lesser degree.

And the chemists are not done tweaking opioid molecules yet.

*********************************

Incredibly Powerful

To rate their comparative strengths, opioids (synthetic opiates) and heroin are compared to morphine which is rated a 1 of strength. Methadone is 3 to 4 times as strong, and heroin is typically 4 to 5 times as strong. Fentanyl is 50 to 100 times as strong and Carfentanil is 10,000 to 100,000 times as strong.

Re: Samantha Carolyn Sutton Death

I just looked that up, you're right. I was going off fentanyl patches. I didn't even know you could get fentanyl in pill form. Showing my ignorance there.
