Women were treated much differently here until recently too. When did sufferage take effect? Theres even a lot of people alive now that had to sit at the back of the bus, we are not that far ahead yet.

I totally agree with you that Islam is a chauvinist religion, but most are.
And I have no desire to travel to any area that operates under religous rules, doesn't matter if its Iran or parts of the USA.

Every organized religion has crazy aspects, I think most are fucked. But I just don't like to single one out as being the most fucked, because they all kind of take turns at it.
But as far as Taliban style Islam, and the way its treats women, that does disgust me. To the point that as a man I would not go there.

Death is something I sometimes fear and yet want to understand.

Fighting is something I hate and arguing is pointless..No matter what is said in these discussions , the people of this world will still hate, fight and die..The fact is this discussion will not change the outside world.

The arguing is quite simply taking time away from the life you could be enjoying..Or using for a better cause.
