Re: ROYALBOY /Vietnam
Faust, you and I, have not crossed paths. I don't usually step in to heated debates. Vietnam, was a different time, those soldiers, were hated, for no reason. They fought a war, valiantly, and were treated like garbage. These days, the war against Iraq, was the terroristic effort of George W. Bush. He made 9/11 happen, and the wars that ensued, were his doing as well. Don't blame American troops, and don't blame Americans like myself, I didn't want war, war was waged, against the wishes, of intelligent Americans like myself. (Though they may be far, and few between)

Re: ROYALBOY /Vietnam
Royalboy, you are very sweet to say this in light of the jerk I've been. All I ask is that if you choose to follow Islam, please, please, please protect your women and your children. Don't let what happened to my sister happen to them. |

Re: ROYALBOY /Vietnam
I dont know if you will understand what I am about to say..But I will give it a shot. Its not about being a hero its about following orders no matter what your personal feelings may be.. To me war is so very pointless and the loss of lives is never worth it.I will always support our troops.I may not support the reason the troops are deployed. I am no hero , the hero in my eyes are the ones who pulled me out of a bad situation over there, and it may surprise you but it was towns people from the area that found me.I am grateful to them.If the had not pulled me away , lets just say I wouldnt be eating dinner with my family tonight.. This is the last time I will respond to all of this as I do not wish to re live some of this over and over. Just understand I am not the hero , I was just another soldier following orders. And trying to stay alive so I could make it back home.Thats not a hero but rather someone who loves life. If you are wanting to find a hero look up the firefighters and police of New York who gave their lives while helping others on 9/11.To me they are the true heroes.... |

Re: ROYALBOY /Vietnam
I read what happened to your sister. But I think you are targeting extreme muslims, when there are extreme christians that are not any better. Fundamentalist Mormons and such are not any better towards women. Catholics would rather protect pedo priests than see them face justice. |

Re: ROYALBOY /Vietnam
We can talk about the psychological abuse the FM women suffered, and we can talk about the generations of children of both sexes the Catholic Church has abused, but it isn't the same thing. Their doctrines do not contain specific instructions to abuse and murder women, they are just sick (for lack of a better term). You're a man. If you go to an Islamic country, you're allowed to do what you want, especially if you claim to convert to Islam. Then all is right with the world. Obviously, women and girls are treated much differently. |
