Re: Pictures From The War in Afghanistan
I find your lack in knowledge very disturbing. :l What about Richard Reid the shoe bomber or the latest Nigerian crotch bomber (whatever his name is) or the Palestinian guy in Ford Hood. Not to mention all the attacks that were intercepted so far, like the Al-Qaeada member that was buying nail polisher everywhere in New York, which was an ingredient for explosives. Stop watching Foxnews, you sheep. And for your information I hate liberals and their moral crusaders. If I was in charge I'd fight terrorism and spend the money wasted so far in Iraq and Afghanistan on education (you could use one), science research and healthcare, instead of pissing it away on shit that only a certain elite in the US will benefit from but not the people. |

Re: Pictures From The War in Afghanistan
Yes I thought you were liberal. Its a liberal idea to throw money at things thinking it will fix them. You make my point, only a handful of attempts so poorly put together because we have them on there heals all the time. The war is working, the terrorist are being engaged on hostile soil. They may be some what world wide, but they must hide and whisper because they know we are not a country of liberal douches like yourself and one of our arms will reach them.

Re: Pictures From The War in Afghanistan
Fox news covered all the events you mentioned. Al-Qaeda will still be a problem, whether you ignore it or not, and the war has helped in ways. We're not seeing 9/11 happening again, only piss poor bombers, that aren't even a part of Al-Qaeda, are attacking us. The US isn't just very strategic, if we rely more on intelligence and policing to find the group's leaders then force we can beat Al-Qaeda. And I'm sure the US realized this with the recent bombing attempts. And you sound like a liberal, wanting to throw money at education, HEALTHCARE, and research. But if you have valid points for all of them over current terrorism attempts, then I'd love to hear it. |

Re: Pictures From The War in Afghanistan
Yeah large scale attacks aren't happening but that doesn't change the fact we're STILL targeted by them. I didn't say we should ignore them. I just don't see how invading Iraq and Afganistan solved anything. What Americans and Europeans seem to confuse is that all Muslim extremist groups were responsible for 9/11. Like you said, now it's not Al-Qaeada attacking, it's people who were inspired by them and see them as heroes which we allowed them to become. We invaded Afghanistan who was supporting Al-Qaeada, Al-Qaeada took off and now we're stuck with the Taliban who won't back down till we get out of their country which we'll eventually have to do. Iraq is even worse, Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 nor did he had links with Al-Qaeada. US showed up, brought down Saddam's regime and gave Shi'ite and Sunni Muslims the freedom to go kill each other. Now the US and UK is stuck with an inevitable civil war that will attract more Muslim extremists who nest inside country with vulnerable and unstable governments and defense force. Afghanistan, Somalia and Yemen are nice example. What we should've done is increase our intelligence, hire more people for counter-terrorism and support police forces worldwide to hunt down terrorist activities. It's less spectacular and (for some) satisfying than bombing the shit out of Arabs but it would be far more effective than the blunder we're doing right now. And I'm not a damn Liberal. If I was American I wouldn't even vote for Obama. It's just sickening that we spend huge amount of money on rebuilding countries who now hate us, instead of our own people. What's a Palistian? Is it nocturnal and bigger than a cat? :] |
