Our soldiers No matter the religion go on patrols of the cities, you make no sense. And most of the people fighting, these "insurgents" are not from Iraq Or Afghanistan so we didn't invade or occupy there country. They will and have learned that they can't hide behind a border and attack innocents. Most real Iraqi citizens understand why we are there, and do not like the insurgents using there country to attack the US. I wonder why World war 2 always gets mentioned in these sort of threads. Must've been some decade the 40's.

But tell me, how does invading two countries stop an organization like Al-Qaeada that's spread out all of the fucking world? That doesn't have a one common leader and mingle among normal citizens and communicate among each other by either Internet, phones or simple letters.

Sounds more like a job for FBI/CIA and the police rather than men in tanks and airplanes in a desert, trying to civilize people they just dropped a bomb on.
