Any info on the girl 5th pic down? The urine hasn't soaked into the carpet which makes me wonder if she laid down to play dead and peed herself while someone took the picture. It seems too fresh since liquid soaks into carpet pretty fast.

Yes, it is true. Many women pee themselves during strangulation and asphyxiation, even if they aren't killed as a result of the act. Often (according to victim statements in court reports) it is as a result of terror while they are being choked.

Of course, the bladder may also automatically 'loosen' when they go unconscious, much like that happens when a drunk passes out and pisses their pants.

And, as you mentioned, it is also completely possible (and usually probable) that they will release urine when they actually die. This is true of any death, but especially prevalent in violent deaths-even moreso if they involved choking.
